Our awards

Since 2017, we’ve remained committed to advocating for vulnerable individuals and their families. To this day, we continue to support local and national charities by offering free services and gifting quarterly donations to those charities that uphold fundamental human rights.

We were nominated, shortlisted and won the national 2017 Social Worker of the Year Awards for our contribution to community-based social work. This recognition was significant in light of the growing challenges faced by Local Authorities and the NHS across England and Wales, many of which have reduced or vital community assistance and support services. Private clients who self-fund their care rarely have anywhere to turn when in need, but now they can turn to Nova Care for complete peace of mind.

In 2019, our efforts were further recognised when we supported dozens of clients to successfully challenge either unlawful decisions to withhold NHS funding or incorrect determinations for the Local Authority to charge clients, where their care should have been provided free of charge. As a result of our strong assessment and advocacy skills, we were privately nominated, shortlisted, and ultimately won the 2019 Lawyer Monthly Expert Witness Award. Thank you to those lawyers who took the time to nominate us.

Following the challenges of COVID-19, we were again honoured with a finalist gong at the 2022 Business Excellence Awards. Adding another well-deserved regional accolade to our growing list of achievements.

Our Founder and Director said:

"These awards reflect our dedication to setting the highest standard in private care practice. They serve to drive, reinforce and remind us of our key mission to support vulnerable clients and their families every day of the week. They amplify the voice of the community, who are in need of trusted, regulated and professional help."
