Why Nova Care Consultants?
Our service is led by a senior director who has sat on Local Resolution Panels (LRPs) and the NHS England Independent Review Panel (IRPs) for years. We truly understand the systems and have made expert determinations for decades. We're not a new service; we've been practising in this area for over 20 years, and offering our expert advice service since 2017. Trust the actual experts! At Nova Care, all our consultants have been social service managers or NHS leaders, so we can deal with your situation much quicker and with less time charged to you. Whilst other providers may use newly qualified staff or non-regulated healthcare practitioners, we're the experts shining the light on NHS Continuing Healthcare since 2017.
With Nova Care Consultants, you get the real expertise of practitioners and leaders with the necessary knowledge, skills, and experience in Continuing Healthcare, overseen by an expert director and retired NHS England panel representative.
Our fees
We can offer a detailed Assessment, Challenge and Appeal Strategy for a fixed fee based on a consultant's hourly rate of £125 per hour. As a guide, we have broken down the stages with time estimates, but these are estimates only. Each case is individual and may take longer or shorter than the guide below.
A stage 1 service takes us around 4-6 hours.
A stage 2 service takes us around 20-30 hours, or one whole week.
A stage 3 service takes us around 20-30 hours.
A stage 4 service is charged at our standard hourly consultant's rate.
A complete case-managed appeal service from stages 1 to 3 is likely to cost between £5,500 and £8,250. We will not charge you more than £8,250, that's a promise.
Don't need the full appeal service? If you require expert advocacy only, our hourly rate for advocacy support starts at £195 per hour for clients who have not used our Stage 1-3 service.
How Long Does The Process Take?
This is a tricky question to answer, as each case can vary from weeks to months. As a guide, Local Appeals will take us around 3-4 weeks, and an NHS England appeal, around 6-8 weeks. This is a guide only, as we have supported some cases in under 3 weeks before, and one took us over 12 weeks, but in these cases, we secured over a quarter of a million pounds refunded to the client, and it took over a year, but we secured the result. We track all our work, and you can view your progress on your client page.
Our Commitment
At Nova Care Consultants, we're committed to helping individuals and families secure the healthcare funding they're entitled to. With our proven track record in CHC appeals and expert witness services, we provide professional, regulated support throughout your appeal journey.
